"It's never too late to live your vision..."
It started at a visioning retreat where I reclaimed a vision that was revealed over 30 years ago. I had been involved in visioning at church, with organizations, and personally for many years — but visioning with Rai was a game changer.
I was in a major life transition after a 40+ year career, and Rai's visioning retreats and circles are the respite that keep me calm, centered, and anchored in the vision. I am now retired — or as I like to say, 'refired' — and the vision continues to unfold.
What Is Visioning?
Visioning is a deeply transformative spiritual practice. Rev Michael Beckwith, the originator of the visioning process I use and teach, describes visioning as "a process in which we cultivate the ability to hear, see or sense a Divine idea for our life."
Whether you call it God, Creator, intuition, Infinite Intelligence, your Higher Self, Creative Muse or the Divine design for your life — whatever you call it, what matters most is that we call on it, and ask it to reveal what it knows.
Specifically, visioning is a process where we quiet the mind, center in Divine love, and ask a series of illuminating questions designed to reveal the divine ideas, visions and sacred callings that want to have life as your life.
Everything you need in order to fulfill the greatest expression of your life is inherently contained in the vision. That means it is inherently contained within you.
When we consistently open ourselves to Divine vision, we don't just receive guidance. We become.

Looking back at my visioning notes, I can clearly see how visions revealed in these retreats have come to life — opportunities to write, publish, speak, teach, and travel — organically unfolding with an ease I didn't need to force, orchestrate, or plan.

I've spent much of my adulthood searching — searching for a deeper connection with God, for answers, for signs, for anything that could offer guidance. And though I thought I knew how to be still, I really didn't.

Through years of facilitation, I've witnessed again and again how visioning transcends physical location — creating profound transformation and connection, no matter where you are.
As soon as you register, you'll receive a welcome packet with everything you need to fully engage. We meet on Zoom, but the real meeting place is within.
No, there is no pressure to be on camera for the retreat. Some participants keep their camera off and find it supports their inward focus.
Sharing is always optional. You're welcome to participate in the sharing and prayer time, or simply receive in silence. Both are honored equally in this space.
No two sessions are the same. While each session follows the same visioning structure, the music is different, what participants share shapes the experience, and the energy of each gathering is unique. Those who attend multiple sessions can attest — each one has its own quality and its own gifts.
You also have the option to focus on a different area of life in each session, which further makes each experience distinctly your own.
Absolutely. Each session is a complete visioning experience. One session can be profoundly impactful — providing clarity, insight, renewal, and direction that stays with you long after.
Yes. Even if you vision on the same question multiple times, what emerges deepens with each session. Many participants attend multiple sessions and find that each one reveals something new — deeper clarity, fresh insights, or a vision they hadn't considered.
You also have the option to focus on a different area of life each time you join us — health, prosperity, love, your life's work, the next season of your life, or something else entirely. Some attend all nine sessions and describe it as a transformative journey.

Meet Your Facilitator
Rai's passion for visioning is infectious! She has been practicing, teaching and facilitating visioning for 27 years! Once a successful yet unfulfilled member of the corporate & non-profit worlds.
Rai charted a new course for her life with visioning.
It all began in 1999 at a visioning workshop facilitated by Rev Joan Steadman, founding member of Agape International Spiritual Center, who visioned and studied directly with Dr. Michael Beckwith.
Of that momentous event, Rai said:
"Something got in my spirit that day, and it has never let me go. When something gets in your spirit, you can't help but talk about it. I talked about my newfound love and understanding of visioning to anyone who would listen.
And then something unexpected happened.
People started asking me to lead them in visioning. Not one person. Multiple people, all around the same time. They would not take no for an answer. I resisted. They persisted. 'You'll figure it out as you go,' they told me. 'You'll teach us and refine your skills. Win-win.' They saw it in me before I saw it in myself.
So I did it. Scared? Yes!
It started with one healer who asked me to facilitate a monthly visioning for her and her team. Then word spread — to other healers, entrepreneurs, families, schools, spiritual communities. Before I knew it, visioning had become my life's work.
After all these years, I'm still here. Still visioning. Still supporting others in doing the same."
Rai is Founder and Spiritual Director of Higher Vision Institute, a Centers for Spiritual Living affiliated teaching chapter founded in 2007. It is affectionately known as "a sacred space where visioning takes place."
She is a sought-after speaker and facilitator who facilitates visioning for spiritual leaders, teachers, healers and entrepreneurs. She has traveled throughout the US to speak at conferences, facilitate retreats, and lead visioning for spiritual communities and people from all walks of life, faiths and traditions.
In 2020, Rai received Centers for Spiritual Living's Practitioner Meritorious Award for outstanding service, including 13 years of leading the organization's Vision Core. She holds the designation of Practitioner Emeritus, recognizing over two decades of dedicated service as a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner.
She is the author of four titles, including The Visionistas' Guide to Visioning, and is currently training to complete her second Honolulu Marathon next year.
