Biography

Rai Jordan, RScP is Founder and Spiritual Director of the Higher Vision Center, a global teaching and healing center based in Northern California created to teach the powerful spiritual practices of visioning and affirmative prayer. She is a licensed spiritual healing practitioner, metaphysical teacher, workshop facilitator and certified visioning facilitator.

Known for her dynamic, compassionate, and powerful presence, Rai's passion for visioning is infectious. She has a gift for speaking from the mystical nature of visioning and discussing its core principles in a way that is easy to understand and inspires people to start or deepen a regular visioning practice.

Education, Experience & Training

Education

Rai holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her practitioner training and licensing in 1998 at East Bay Church of Religious Science under the guidance of Rev Dr Elouise Oliver. She is grateful for the education and training she received from Rev E and her other spiritual teachers.

Higher Vision Center Founder & Spiritual Director

Higher Vision Center has expanded from it's origins as a structure for Rai's teaching and counseling practice to become an official United Centers for Spiritual Living Teaching Chapter and a full-fledged spiritual center.

The center is evolving into a vibrant, dynamic community of spiritual leaders, healers, artists, activists and entrepreneurs united in the vision of consciously co-creating Heaven on Earth in our lifetime.

Master Spiritual Teacher & Workshop Facilitator

A natural teacher, Rai is known for her ability to transform complex spiritual concepts into simple steps relevant to real-life challenges and opportunities. Affirmative prayer and visioning are at the center of Rai's life and are the core of her approach to working with and supporting others. She is also a sought after workshop and retreat facilitator.

Vision Core Coordinator for United Centers for Spiritual Living

.

Elected to the UCSL Vision Core in 2004, Rai became a certified visioning facilitator in 2006, was re-elected to a second term on the Vision Core in 2007 and, in 2008, was appointed UCSL Vision Core Coordinator by Community Spiritual Leader Rev Dr Kathy Hearn.

As Vision Core Coordinator, a UCSL Core Council position, Rai serves on the Council and leads both the organization's Vision Core and its certified visioning facilitator program. She also serves as regional visioning facilitator for Northern California. Rai trains, certifies and coordinates UCSL’s regional visioning facilitators and supports leaders and affiliate centers in using visioning and developing vision cores.

She facilitates visioning sessions and groups at all levels of the UCSL organization, their affiliate centers and for the community at large. She is the author of the recently updated UCSL Visioning Manual.

Trained in the Art & Science of Affirmative Prayer

Rai became a licensed Religious Science practitioner in 1998. The training she received in this spiritual teaching helped her heal her own life and empowered her with the divine gifts of prayer, discernment and a consiousness of unwavering faith.

These innate gifts have shaped her as a conduit for her clients' quantum healing and as an inspiring mentor for her students. Rai’s prayer work with others evolved from praying with friends to praying for congregants to joining the East Bay Church Ministry of Prayer to starting a part-time practice while maintaining a full-time job. Now, she devotes herself full time to bringing visioning and affirmative prayer to people everywhere.

These years in sacred service have helped Rai refine her skills and develop a reputation as someone who gets results. People say, “That woman can pray!” Those who work with Rai become healers and revealers in their own lives!

Trained in the Technique & Consciousness of Visioning

Rai has extensive training and expertise in visioning. Her passion is to support individuals and organizations in realizing their vision.

She has facilitated visioning sessions and taught visioning courses for corporations and non-profits, in churches, spiritual communities, hospitals and schools.

Rai has a real gift for introducing visioning in a way that makes it accessible to people from all walks of life, spiritual paths and religious traditions and has inspired countless people to develop a regular visioning practice.

She understands the possible roadblocks to implementing visioning and knows how to overcome them. Her passion for visioning is infectious and has spilled over into the creation of a Visioning CD in 2008, and The Visioning Tool Kit in 2009.

Ecclesiastical Service & Leadership

Over the past thirteen years, Rai has held a number of key positions in spiritual leadership and sacred service, which have prepared her for this ministry.

For nine years at East Bay Church, Rai was actively involved in ecclesiastical service and leadership.

She then spent four and a half more years at the Center for Spiritual Living, Davis where she helped in growing the church and the expansion of a number of core ministries before branching out to start Higher Vision Center.

Extensive & Varied Background

Rai's varied background includes philanthropy, human resources, volunteer management, and community service.

Rai was the Director of Giving Northern California prior to shifting into a full-time teaching and counseling practice six years ago. GNC was a local three year initiative created to increase charitable giving and volunteerism in the region.

She was the visionary behind the organization's highly acclaimed publication, “The Giving Circle: A Starter Kit.”

Rai also managed a corporate giving program for a major financial services company and has served on several non-profit boards.
